Photographer spotlight: Eudes De Santana

A bit off from my normal posts, but I felt like I needed to share a photographer I have been loving for a while now.
I'm not a photography expert, but his stlye of photos really reminds me of the American Apparel lookbooks which I love! (p.s. mind the odd bit of nudity!)

2014 Style Obsession; The Jagged Sole (plus a cheap alternative!)

Aloha Bloggers!
Happy New Year and apologies for going AWOL yet again, but I've just gotten into Uni (yay) and it just took a while to settle in (as in the whole first semester!)
But I've currently been craving over the 'chunky heel'/jagged sole look, they just seem to add a certain 'oomph' to an outfit, especially when paired with an all black (or white) outfit. Plus, the boots could easily be styled with with a wool oversized jacket, white vest top tucked into some skinny, ripped, rolled up 'boyfriend style' jeans.
This style of shoe is extremely versatile and has me in absolute LUST...
*sighs* Unfortunately I cannot afford the Jill Sandler or Windsor Smith's but I have found an alternative that should hopefully be coming soon:

These were found online in somewhere I would never have imagined them...New Look for only £24.99. I'm not sure whether its still a taboo, but I really want to wear a pair of socks with these babies (sandals and socks sin, I know!) I'm currently running to the letterbox to see if anything has come on a daily basis due these!

I will also be shooting a few lookbooks and a haul very soon, so stay tuned for those! I'm also going to try and be more frequent with my blog...So fingers crossed!

Brick Lane/Thrifting Haul!

Hey bloggers!

I went to Brick Lane recently and ended up buying few things, from 'Rokit' and 'Blitz London'.

Levi - 'MOM' Jeans

I had been eyeing up the Topshop imfamous 'MOM' jeans for a while, but never got round to actually buying them. I popped into Blitz London and saw these babies:

I wear a W30, L34 and these fit like a DREAM! theyre so comfy and have become my 'go-to' jeans. I love styling them with a black vintage belt and something cropped as they can be worn super high waisted.
These were £30, but I received a 10% discount taking it down to £27!

Next item(s) I got were a 2 for £20 deal on shirts at Blitz.

I've wanted a 'trucker' style shirt for a while, so I decided to get this 'Dickies' shirt as one of my two.

The second was a CK denim shirt which I thought was a bargain!

From Rokit I bought this cropped team jumper to wear with the Levis I got (I'm a visual shopper who will buy one staple piece then imagine what will go with it in my future purchases) but I bought this for £20ish (maybe £18?)

Finally, on the way home I decided to pick up a pair of sunglasses and these literally reminded me of a pair I could imagine DJ Jazzy Jeff wearing; the flip up sunnies!

These were £8

I also met a lovely girl called Vivianna, who worked in Blitz London, who helped me with  my size and fitting who's style I also fell in love with!

More new blogposts coming soon <3

Crave/Wishlist/Ramble/I'm back!

Crave

Hey guys! I'm finally done with my a-level exams, and I'm SO glad that they're over. I've developed a very boring sense of dress and social life over the past few months due to these exams draining the life out of me. But I'm so grateful to be finally finished!!!
I'm going to treat myself soon (once the £££ comes flowing I'll be able to buy some of these items I've been eyeing for quite a while...and a random tamogotchi haha who remembers them?!?)
Clockwise from the top left corner:
  • Happy Daze Crop Top - £16 but I prefer this ebay version: Crop top
  • American Apparel Riding Pant - £64
  • The Ragged Priest Neon Yellow Beanie - £16 again an ebay alternative: beanie
  • TOPSHOP MOTO Vintage Wash Mom Jeans - £51
  • Boohoo Lesley Oversized Baseball Tee - £15
  • New Balance Women's WL574 Yacht Club Running Shoe - *price varies with size*
  • 80s - Walker Large Circle Frame Sunglasses - £7.68
  • ASOS HONG KONG Heeled Sandals with Metal Trim - £45
  • Nike Air Vortex Grey Trainers - £62
  • Nike Free Run 4.0+ V2 Women's Running Shoes - £51
Yeah, these are a few items I plan on getting hopefully in the near future!

Glad to finally be taking this blogging biz seriously!
